My Dt challenge for the Throwdown

Well this week is my turn for the Throwdown challenge over at Memorable Seasons. Whats a throwdown you say---Have you ever watched it on Foot Network. Its kinda cool--Bobby Flay seeks out people who make some awesome dish and then he try to copy it but also make it his own at the same time.

So we are doing the same thing with a scrapbook page and this week its my turn to issue the challenge---OH soo fun!

Well for my throwdown I want you to think Baked Spaghetti. Its a great hearty meal and not alot of ingredients required--but oh the possibilities to make it different everytime!

So we need some meat, noodles and sauce right? Then is when the fun begins... Did you know that I have kids that wont eat spinach So guess what when I make baked spaghetti I put spinach in there-great way to get them some green vegetable--BTW zucchini works great too.

So here we go with my take
Photobucket
Okay for some reason photobucket is not cooperating and half of my lo is cut off-UGH!

So we have the one photo-check
lots of layering-check
embellie cluster-check
non scrappy item---see the yellow strip with the numbers and some staples, well those are the dry cleaner tags they put on my husbands pants and of course I save them

So here's your challenge ladies
one photo
layering---must have at least 5 pattern papers on your lo
embellie cluster-must be more than 3 items
non scrappy related item--only one is required

Come join us here MS board--then you can see the full picture of my lo and meet lotsa new people.

I sure hope you will come join us for this challenge and cant wait to see what you create---now get ta cookin girls!
Toodles,
Tami

Pride

WHOA I am such a bad bad blogger. I need to make this my new years resolution--NOT becuz if you know me I wouldnt keep it-LOL!

But here I am today to share a lo I did last night. I like to call it artsy fartsy-hehehee
I have just been a scrappin machine here lately and this one that I did last night I must say is one of my new faves. The pictures arent the greatest but it is some photos I wanted to scrap. Now u know I had to use a sketch cuz I am a sketch aholic. This one is based off the sketch over off the blog called Sketch Thursdays. Diana and Heidi always have the coolest sketches over there. I do them alot but dont seem to get them posted in for the challenge but low and behold this week I will make it in on time. Why do I like their sketches soo much well its cuz they leave sooo much room for you to put ur style on it. This one I wanted to just play around with my paint dabber and boy oh boy did I. I love the messy look of paint--so I swiped the cardboard and then did some BIG swipes as kind of a mat for my photos. I think I should have brought it further out on the right side but hey its art-RIGHT? Then when it was all glued down I decided to dab it sum more-fun fun!
And can you believe I used some flower paper for a football lo-WOWZA--so not me but I do love how this turned out. So thanks again Sketchy Thursday for always leading me in the right direction.
